CJMCU-GUVA-S12SD UV Sensor Module – Ultraviolet Light Detection
Product Description
The CJMCU-GUVA-S12SD UV Sensor Module is a compact ultraviolet (UV) light detection module designed to measure UV radiation from sunlight and other UV light sources. It uses a UV-sensitive photodiode to detect ultraviolet light within an approximate wavelength range of 240 nm to 370 nm.
This module converts detected UV light into an electrical signal that can be measured using a compatible microcontroller or electronic circuit. Its low power consumption, high sensitivity, and linear response make it suitable for UV monitoring experiments, outdoor measurement devices, and DIY electronics projects.
The sensor can be integrated with Arduino, ESP32, and other development boards for building UV detection systems, sunlight monitoring devices, and educational science projects.

Important Notes
The stated 240–370 nm range describes the sensor's UV wavelength response, not a direct UV Index measurement.
UV Index calculation requires suitable calibration and conversion of the sensor output.
The actual output voltage and measurement range depend on the module's circuit design and connected measurement system.
Confirm the module's output type and pin labels before connecting it to a microcontroller.
Although the supplied specifications list a 2.5V–5V supply, check the actual breakout board's voltage and output compatibility before connecting it to an ESP32 or other controller.
Measurement accuracy can be affected by sensor orientation, sunlight conditions, temperature, and calibration.
