MCP4725 I2C DAC Breakout Module – 12-Bit Digital to Analog Converter Development Board
Product Description
The MCP4725 I2C DAC Breakout Module is a compact 12-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) development board designed to convert digital data into a variable analog voltage signal. It uses the MCP4725 DAC chip and communicates with microcontrollers through the I2C interface.
With 12-bit resolution, the module provides 4096 possible output levels, making it suitable for applications that require accurate and adjustable analog voltage output. It supports a 2.7V to 5.5V supply voltage and includes internal EEPROM to store the DAC output value, allowing the saved setting to be restored after power is reapplied.
The MCP4725 module can be easily interfaced with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other I2C-compatible development boards. It is useful for waveform generation, analog signal control, audio experiments, voltage adjustment, and DIY electronics projects.

Important Notes
The MCP4725 is a 12-bit, single-channel DAC.
The analog output range depends on the module's supply voltage and circuit configuration.
The module communicates through I2C; it is not a UART or SPI module.
The I2C address may depend on the breakout board's address configuration.
Check the board pin labels and operating voltage before connecting it to your microcontroller.
The module generates an analog voltage output, not a high-power signal. Use an external amplifier or driver when controlling loads that require more current.
High-Speed I2C support depends on the connected controller and actual module implementation.
