KG045 0–25V DC Voltage Sensor Module – Voltage Detection Module for Arduino and ESP32
Product Description
The KG045 0–25V DC Voltage Detection Sensor Module is a simple and practical module for monitoring DC voltage in microcontroller and DIY electronics projects. It uses a resistive voltage divider to reduce the input voltage to a lower level that can be measured through a compatible microcontroller's analog input (ADC).
With a supported input range of up to 25V DC, this module is useful for monitoring batteries, DC power supplies and low-voltage electronic circuits. Its screw-terminal connector makes it convenient to connect the voltage source, while the 3-pin output interface provides signal, power and ground connections for compatible development boards.
The KG045 voltage sensor is suitable for Arduino Uno, compatible ESP32 development boards and other microcontrollers, provided the input voltage and analog output remain within the board's electrical limits.

Important Notes
ESP32 compatibility: ESP32 ADC inputs generally have a lower maximum voltage than 5V Arduino analog inputs. Check the module's divider ratio and ensure its output never exceeds the specific ESP32 pin's permitted voltage.
Voltage divider output: With a 5:1 divider, a 25V input produces approximately 5V output. This is suitable only for an ADC input designed to accept that voltage.
Resolution clarification: The advertised 0.02445V input step is a theoretical calculation for a 10-bit ADC with a 5V reference and a 5:1 divider. Actual measurement accuracy depends on ADC characteristics, resistor tolerances, reference voltage and calibration.
DC use: This module is intended for low-voltage DC measurement, not direct measurement of AC mains voltage.
Power and wiring: Follow the module's pin labels and your development board's voltage limits before connecting it.
The KG045 voltage sensor is an affordable and convenient choice for measuring DC voltage in battery-powered projects, microcontroller experiments and DIY electronics applications.
